From the ground up

Good homes begin
with good
conversations.

You don't need to have everything figured out. That's what the first meeting is for.

Start a conversation
01

Let's talk about your home.

Meet Josh. Bring your ideas, inspiration, budget, and questions. We'll talk about your location and see whether we're the right fit.

02

Find the right plan.

Already own land? We'll work with the site you've chosen. Still looking? We can help. Then we'll shape the plans and selections around your priorities.

03

Build with personal attention.

Josh manages the construction and keeps the conversation going. He prefers to focus on one home at a time, giving the project his close attention.

04

Make yourself at home.

From choosing finishes to completing construction, we'll work through the final details together. Most builds take about six to nine months once construction begins.

Timing varies with the home, site, weather, and selections.

2003Josh's first custom home

Meet Josh.

A personal approach, built on experience.

Josh learned the building process hands-on while working with a builder on his own home in the early 2000s. In 2003, he built his first custom home. He's been building ever since, including homes in Pebble Creek and Fremont Hills.

We draw and adapt the plans. Josh manages the build and helps you make confident choices about a home that's truly your own.

Josh holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in business administration, bringing a background in management to the building process. His experience spans both residential and commercial construction.

JenMac’s experience also includes property renovation, real estate investment, and residential and commercial property management.

We work with familiar, reputable subcontractors and offer a one-year limited builder’s warranty on all new construction. Client and professional references are available on request.

Want us to handle everything? We can. Prefer to take on agreed work, such as cleanup or landscaping? We'll discuss how that can fit your budget and construction schedule.

A few things to know.

Can JenMac draw our plans?

Yes. We draw the plans, adapting an existing layout or starting from scratch around your priorities and site.

Where do you build?

Nixa, Ozark, Springfield, Clever, Republic, Highlandville and surrounding southwest Missouri communities. Share the exact site location with Josh to discuss your project.

Do we need to own land first?

You can start a conversation before you have a lot. If you already own land, bring the location and any site information so we can discuss the plan in context.

How long does construction take?

Most JenMac builds take about six to nine months once construction begins. Timing varies with the home, site, weather and selections. Planning and preparation happen before that construction period.
